Tools 4 Teens was created to achieve multiple goals. The first is to provide straightforward
information that deals with the realities of teen life today. Our mission is to equip teenagers
with critical information so they can make educated choices as they maneuver through difficult
and challenging years. Our purpose is not to SCARE, but to PREPARE teens. Today?s teenagers face
tough issues that call for a "shoot it straight" approach. Knowledge is power!
Although teenagers in general deal with many of the same issues, boys and girls approach and deal
with situations differently. So we created a separate book for girls and boys, ages 13-18. Some
of the subjects you will find in the Girl?s Edition are: Abstinence, Peer Pressure, Dating Abuse,
Anger, Drugs- ?Date Rape? drug, and Alcohol use. In the Boy?s Edition, subjects range from:
Self Esteem, Relationship with Fathers, Forgiveness, Peer Pressure, and Drug and Alcohol use.
Each topic is supported with advice and facts from experts who offer practical and thought-provoking
Words of Wisdom. Each topic concludes with scripture directly related to what God calls us to do in
each situation. Within the pages of Tools 4 Teens, God?s LOVE, GRACE and MERCY are poured out through
a variety of stories and messages.
Tools 4 Teens is for mature, teenage audiences. Because children mature at their own pace, some may not
be ready for the content of this book while others may be right on target. As a parent or family member,
it is your decision to present these issues to them at this time. Tools 4 Teens can serve as a wonderful
tool for you and your child to open the door to key issues, paving the road for healthy, open discussion.
