Excerpt for Relationship with Father
For most boys, the person who holds the greatest power and influence in their life is
their own father. If you were blessed with a father who has shown you love and support,
kindness and strength, you should fall to your knees and PRAISE GOD! Don’t ever take this
blessing for grated as millions of boy’s don’t have a father in their home, or even know
where their father is. Or, their father is present but emotionally absent – so busy with
career and life, that his own children are strangers to him.
The absence of a biological father can be severely painful – the impact felt to the depths
of your soul, leaving its mark on multiple levels in your life. If your father is not
present in your life, know that there is ABSOLUTELY no connection between your value and
his absence. His lack of involvement in your life stems from his own personal issues,
which is not a reflection of your worth.

Anger * Anxiety * Fear * Depression * Lack of Trust * Loneliness * Hopelessness
Chances are you are feeling at least one of these emotions right now. The good news is that
this is perfectly normal and the GREAT news is that “this too shall pass.” When you are
experiencing one of these emotions it can feel overwhelming and very painful. You may feel
stuck in a pit and can’t find your way out. The following scriptures are tools given to you
by your Heavenly Father. They are your ticket out of the dumps. Trust in Him with all your
heart knowing that He loves you and takes you through this pain so you will draw closer to
Him and grow from each of your experiences, as painful as they may be. Without pain
and “potholes” in your life, there is no way for you to grow. With each difficult
emotion comes the rebirth of a stronger, healthier YOU.
Excerpt from Search for Self
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you have been.. Consider this a brand new day,
a brand new beginning. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the
old has gone, the new has come!” -2 Corinthians 5:17
God has a “Plan A” for your life. When you submit to God’s plan and trust in Him with
all your heart, He will show you his power to make all things new. Commit yourself to
God’s will and allow your life, body and spirit to fall under the umbrella of His protection.

“Placing sex inside of a committed relationship called marriage is the safest
place for people to experience that form of intimacy,” says Lisa Kraig, Sexual
Health Director at The Pregnancy Help Center. “Young girls need to know the
immense value they have and set a high standard for themselves,” says Kraig.
Excerpt from Is your Relationship Healthy?
Understand with 100% certainty that it is never acceptable for a boy to raise his
hand or voice to you. Never! There are no amount of “I love you’s” or “I’m sorry’s”
that will ever excuse this destructive behavior. If you experience this behavior
once….run! Tell your parents, youth pastor, school counselor or trusted adult.
This boy does not have the power to change on his own. He will need the power of the
Holy Spirit and counseling to overcome his anger and impulse issues.
